i didnt read alot of the responses, but what was your production like?

I'm sure as you know sales is a bottomline business bro..if you weren't producing shit is bound to happen. But if you were or just had a bad month or even two, than that's horseshit.

I was put in a position with no training what so ever and given very limited tools to attain an unbelievably high sales target in a market where it is almost impossible to sell. I failed. I did not meet my target for two months in a row. I only got one warning, then I got laid off.

sounds about right, if they're paying you a base they put alot of pressure on you.

sounds like a shitty operation IMHO. training is very important.
you just have to find a better place to work for with a good support system

you and me are very alike. i dont like sales...but i love marketing. i'm pretty good at sales though and people generally like me, it just wears thin on me after awhile.
