My gym, the car park attendent and my approach to....

Just a thought:
The gym may only be a tenant of the building. That is, the property is owned and managed by another party. Hence, before you begin an e-mail campaign against the gym, get all of the facts.
If the attendant is employed by another party other than the gym, ask him for the name of the company and contact them via telephone. I believe that people are inherently good for the most part and if there is some sort of accomodation that they're not aware is needed, they may appreciate you for bringing to their attention and will see to it at once.

I has a similar problem with my gym in Phoenix (Arizona).
In the summer the temperature would get to 110 (or more) daily. The gym paid some kids to walk up and down the road wearing sandwich board ads. I thought this was bad advertising towards the gym and let them (the gym) know it.
I asked that the boys were at least provided with water and it was done (the water jugs had the gyms logo on it).
If the gym looks bad to the public they will do something. Good luck.

Ok the situation so far. I approached the management with my concerns and they said they'ed look into it. However I was followed into the gym by another staff member who said they would'nt give a fuck. He said he often loaned the guy his bus fare home on a Friday night because the management sometime "forgot his wages" !, and he's have to come in Saturday for them !. THis pissed me off big time so I approached the management again and said I expected to see something done soon. I've also had some other members approach them too.
Prince the gym is a huge concern, they own the building a grounds etc..
Anyway I'll keep you guys posted.

Burn the gym down ...
On the plus side will keep him warm an snug ,provide vengeance an stuff it to the management.
On the neg side we'll go to jail (wonder what the management are like in there?) and he'll lose his job.
No ideas after that but it's great that you're lookin out for the little guy - people are always gettin shit on , specially in big cities - you're a cultchie at heart Martin (I'm tellin ya!).
How's the trainin goin on Bouncer - hope you're stickin to the circuits - I hate cardio so much but I can do it on the juice without sufferin in the gym so bad.

Hi Rob, just back form the gym, made more representations to management. Plus the parish prest here trains there (the reason I don't use the sauna !!) and I have him on my side now.
I filled in the comments card at the reception and got a few more member's behind me !.
I asked the guy this evening about any excuse's etc the management had mae regarding his situation. They said the money was'nt there to provide him with a pot-a-cabin !. Jeeze the gym costs a fortune to join and you (Rob) know how much it costs for a casual workout (approx $15us).
I have the bit in my mouth now and won't let it go !.
