My Graduation Cake

If you like that cake ; and someone is gonna get if for you ; why not? It would be a cool centerpiece for a table at a graduation party.


I love throwing parties and really get into every party I throw. So ; I understand the reason behind wanting a nice cake for decoration reasons ; and just because I like to throw fabulous parties.

Though ; that cake might be a little pricey for a graduation party ; you could spend it else where.

I think its a cute cake. And well, why not?

No matter WHAT kind of thread I post, I will always have a few peeps who are going to take it the COMPLETELY wrong way and start talking shit and giving me shit because it's fun to them. Have you noticed how all the threads I start continue for pages? It's because it's entertainment for many peeps..

I don't care who is fake on here, who is real, yada yada, but damnit, this thread was about a freakin' CAKE. I'm having a REGULAR BBQ so where peeps are going saying all this shit about "spoiled this and spoiled that," I haven't got a clue. As I said before, if you think I'm bragging why the hell would I be bragging about a little BBQ and a cake?

But damn - I love that cake. LOL.

I think that they think that its wierd that someone who is throwing just a regular BBQ would have such a pricey and high maint. cake.

But I do because I like to throw parties. I throw good ones. But most people dont upwards of 600-1000 bucks for a cake at a BBQ. Not sure if I would either but if I could somehow get a deal ; then I would sure ; why not?

And did the thought ever occur to you that most of our parents could not afford to pay for our schooling, OR a "simple BBQ" complete with an EXTREMELY ELABORATE cake?

No one is razzing you for having completed your undergrad degree. I have already given you kudos for that as have other who DID complete their schooling. Heck, I got married instead of finishing the schooling that I PAID FOR...

Just take a step back and TRY real hard to put yourself in the shoes of others. Perhaps a little humble pie would be more appropeau?

Ok but why get angry over that? It's not them spending the money so who cares? If someone came on here and told me they were spending an excessive amount of money on something I thought was ridiculous, I wouldn't act like a prick to them. That's their perogative.
