Why do you keep thinking that I think I know everything? I mean this thread was about a cake? What is the big deal? You keep going back to that and I know I don't know NEARLY close to a lot in life.

But that was not what this thread was about... you keep going back to that and it holds no meaning here because I just get annoyed of all the arguing when that was not why I started this thread. Please move on - I don't want to argue anymore.. this is a cake thread and that's it.

I didn't even click and see what the cake looked like until this was 4 pages long. I just thought it was funny and sad that an adult had to go onto a steroid and bodybuilding site to brag about the fact that her parents are going to get her a cake and throw a party for her graduation. I'm just thinking Billy Madison. It's kind of worse in a way knowing it's a $1,000 dollar cake. Makes it seem like bragging about the price of the cake. Goes right along with the schooling paid for by mommy and daddy and the Audi TT, which is what all the kids are driving this year. Just comes off like a spoiled little rich shit bragging.

Look - if I'm to get over anything than others will have to get over it as well. I was NOT bragging nor trying to. Some people UNDERSTAND that. Some just don't. It's a CAKE.

You have told me in the past that I should listen to my elders and understand that they are more experienced and know certain things more than I.. so if this is the case, why do you want me to "apply this wisdom" (which I'm not even sure exactly what you want me to do considering I was not trying to brag in this thread), yet you and other peeps NOT? You guys keep doing the same bs I am.

It is not "just a cake". It is a VERY EXPENSIVE luxury item.

Me? I could care less how much money you or anyone connected to you or anyone who you never even met spends on anything. It affects me not.

You are treated so harshly by so many because of how you treat EVERYONE. Is it right that some people call you names? No, I don't believe it is. That part is over the top, I do agree. But as far as giving you flack for being clueless - you bring that on yourself every single time you post.

I grew up with money. a LOT of it- my parents paid for my college and graduate school too, plus spring breaks and anything else i wanted. and as soon as i saw that cake I laughed at the rediculousness of it.

this thread REEKS of "look at how privaledged i am". its not the issue of you having a simple bbq or a ball at the waldorf. you're here on a site of bodybuilders and weightlifters and powerlifters, and you show us some pretty, little, expensive cake your parents are going to buy for your "little BBQ" (which you failed to mention until called on it), and what were you expecting? everyone to say "oh, thats so pretty! you're so lucky!"?

That was NOT my intention. So no one on here ever posted a picture of a new plasma they got? Or a new car? Or a car they are going to buy? Or a motorcycle? Etc? I've seen MANY people post things like that. And who cares if I didn't bring up BBQ? Why would you assume? The thread was about a cake that I was excited about - and that is all. Take it whatever way you want. Just because you grew up with money doesn't mean you think like I do - that was not my intention. I had never seen a whimsical cake before (no joke) so I was rather excited.
