My doc just recommended 250mg's test for a year?

I know that some guy's on here have done this in the past but i was under the impression that it would suppress natural levels for life. I just got back to Ontario which is home, and went to my regular family doctor for blood tests and he assured me that this would give my desired results without risk of major sides or suppression? Would really like input from anyone who knows or has tried this. K to all replies. Thanks.

I don't believe for a millisecond that your doc said 250mg/week would not suppress you. Even 100mg would after less than a month.

exactly what I was thinking

If he did, it's time for a new doc.

100 mg/week is pretty standard HRT/TRT protocol and even that will suppress you after a few months. I was on 100mg/week Test Cyp + 500iu/week of HCG and that kept me right at the top of the normal range. LH (Luteinizing Hormone) was always 0 after about 10 weeks into TRT.

HRT is a lifelong commitment, bro, and because of that you owe it to yourself to find someone qualified to treat you.

I personally believe that mismanaged HRT (because it is long-term) can screw you up just as bad or even worse than a mismanaged cycle. You can get a lot of benefit from the high T, but raising it while keeping other major hormones in check requires some work.

PM me if you would like more info.

Thanks all for the replies. I assure all that i am not interested whatsoever in hrt, but i was open to suggestion from my doc. I like the potential benefits from this cycle but not at the risk of screwing myself up. I really like 8 - 12 week cycles. They work well and i have no problem recovering from them as my blood tests reveal. So the risks with suppression would not be worth doing it is what i am getting from you guys. I trust you guys more than my family doc because i am unsure of how much practical experience he has with steroids. He did impress me with what he knew about pct and some things as far as esters and clearance times so i assumed he knew what he was talking about. From those that know can one easily recover from such a cycle, providing as sonny stated, that you keep all other major hormones in check?
Thanks again for all the help.

8-12 week cycles serve everyone not training for Nat's perfectly well.
