My digger tribute thread

Lestat

MVP
EF VIP
I miss the guy already. I didn't know he was sick, I knew he was stressed, and figured it was the board upgrade (I am an IT guy and know the pain of software upgrades firsthand).

There was always a lot of misunderstanding between digger and I. At the end of the day, any tension we had was trivial and meaningless in the the scope of a human life.

He was an interesting character, something I am sure other's would say about me, and I mean it as a compliment. He was very bright, very dilligent, and despite our personal differences, he was one of the most fair people you could find. He did not suffer fools lightly, and had his own brand of humor. He didn't have a lot of patience for those who couldn't follow directions, and even less for those who couldn't comprehend them.

I know he was married, and loved his wife dearly. I know he took pride in his work, and in himself. I know he enjoyed EF for many of the same reasons I do.

Losing someone unexpectedly is never easy, so my heart is heavy with sorrow for his family, close friends, and other loved ones.

I never got a chance to say goodbye, but if I could, I would have said "digger, you are a good bro"

That was a lovely eulogy, Lestat.

As George Spellwin stated. Digger volunteered his services on the boards beyond his general Admin duties. So, Im sure he enjoyed the forums and all the E-drama that came with it. Otherwise I highly doubt he would have posted.
