My current stock picks

LGF - Lions gate films. Own SAW, SAW 2, HOSTEL, Grizzly Man, Lord of War.... very attractive buying opportunity for large studios due to their catalog of DVDs.. if DVD sales pick up they will do well. In general they have had great successes with their films.

YHOO - took a HUGE hit this week, it will rebound

GG - dropped this week do the gold futures going doing, gold is still going to go up

CHK - its going to be a cold winter and energy prices are on the rise!! look for some growth in this stock

SYMC - took a huge hit in november and will slowly recover

GILD - makes an aids drug.. instead of 3 pills, you take ONE! It costs the same as the 3 combined, but the consumers only pay 1 co pay, not 3.. and it s easier to take.. look at their long term chart.. lots of growth and it will continue!

It's two pills and they have failed twice in the last 14 months to make a pill that has bioequivalence. Viracept still is the best treatment and Trimeris has something that has shown the ability to kill 99% of the disease in the bloodstream.


Dell has a cash dividend coming. I'm waiting for that. The new operating system from Microsoft will increase demand for new computers in 2006/2007.

AMTD is gonna be all over the place next week. I picked it up in December in the mid 23's.

The dividend this coming week should be $6 per share. Hence the increase in volume recently.

I called Ameritrade Investor Relations at 1-800-237-8692 and listened to their taped message. If you hold their stock in your account on or before the dividend pay date of 1/24/06 and hold it through the x-dividend date of 1/25/06, then you will be paid the special dividend.
