My crazy co-worker!

The guy has a lot of problems in his personal life. Last week somebody broke into his house, they stole 3 laptops, and around 10 guns. The guy had a collection of around 15 weapons. He took a monster Ruger to our office and stressed, started threatning other guys and pointing the gun to them. My boss didn't call the police cause SWAT team would've been over there in 10 minutes with snipers on the front and the TV station in the air. So the next day the guy was disciplined, asked to apologize to every co-worker. He didn't. Was too much for him and he quit. He was 10 years working for the company. Crazy day.

I thought about that in the moment but you never know how bad the situation is until you think back about what happened. How many times we see on the knews that a stressed guy killed his co-workers...we were close to that. Anyhow, the comany filed a report with the police and security measures were taken.

Yah I'd say he isn't too stable. Ya might wanna spend a few minutes at work figuring out a getaway plan in case old boy changes his mind and comes back. He ain't quite right.

Well my boss was in trouble for not callng the cops in the moment. But the explanation was they all knew this guy pretty well. They were co-workers for more than 10 years. I'm new there. I have 6 months. The guy was funny, good person but extremely unstable. Probably bipolar. One day he was calling crying to my boss with depression, the other day he was jumping in the office joking around. Just in case, the lock of the front door was replaced and now is always locked. At least for some time.
