My Crappy Split....

basically old school, push/pull

I do my big lift at the start of each workout...

ie.

Chest/Tris...start with bench

Back/Bi's...start with dl (I absolutely HATE bicept work)

Legs..start with squat...

Shoulders/calves....start with seated front press...

4 days a week...rinse, lather, repeat.


Anyway...I've been thinking that the only lift I REALLY LIKE is the big compound lift a the start of each workout...all the other stuff I do seems rather boring and monotonous...

Was wondering about a 2 day split....

MAYBE
Bench/Squat
DL'/Front Press

then just supplementing a few of the other ones (flys, pressdowns, rows) as I feel up to it...rather than buring out with a 2 hour long routine of crap I don't like.

Anyone have any tips or thoughts?
 
why cant you?????

I'm not his personal consultant or anything....but I warned him against doing this program. 14 year olds and heavy singles do not sound like a good idea to me. He is ultimately free to do what he chooses.
