Let me see if I can explain this..................

If I make a fist W/thumb inside, I can barely move the wrist at ALL without agonizing pain. Left one is a little worse than the right.

Are any of these signs of Carpel Tunnel?

Its possible. If the pain is so severe go, see a doctor ASAP.
For milder pains some antinflamatories will work.

it hit me about 4 nights ago - I woke up around 3am and couldn't figure out why the hell my wrists were aching.

I am on 1IU of HGH/ed - about the 4th month - wouldn't suspect that low of a dose would cause this.

I thought maybe Calcium Deposits, but wouldn't that be gradual?

The tendon that hurts is the one at the base of the thumb that connects it to the wrist.

You've just described "Finkelstein's Test". Wiki Entry Here

Technically, no - it's an indication that you are suffering from DeQuervain's tenosynovitis. This is anatomically different from Carpal Tunnel Syndrome.

I'm on HGH, and it hit me in one wrist as well. But I think mine was caused by muscle cramping of the forearm, which sprained the thumb tendon that lies within that sheath.

But now that I see your post, I wonder if maybe not...

EDIT: Duh. I'm getting Active Release (ART) performed on it, which is helping - but what just kills me is any intensive forearm work.

Yep. Mine started 5 weeks ago, at about month 3 into the GH. It's slowly getting better, even though I haven't taken a break from lifting. I'm able to bend my wrist like that pic a couple degrees with almost no pain, before I couldn't even begin to move.

Short of getting some kind of therapy, my only suggestions: keep moving the wrist during the day; tape up when pushing the big weight; ice it when you're just hangin' out; and consider working on finger extensor strength - think of strengthening the fingers in the opposite direction of gripping.

Good luck with it, bro.

So you're saying 1 measly IU of HGH/day could cause this?

Dunno - I've been running 4iu/day. Haven't cut down. You know, a man's gotta do what a man's gotta do.

Oh, the other thing that seems to help mine: I have my wife use a wooden rolling pin on my forearm muscles, and really dig in and roll them out while I place my forearm on the counter. I think in my case at least, it's all tied to how tight those muscles get.

I think working forearms is a waste. Maybe some heavy hammer curls but thats about it. Wrist curls are a major waste of time. I think heavy back movements will build your forearms the best.

I was going to say the same thing, but I guess it could be possible..Mine always hurt when I went over 4ius/ed.

I doubt it's from the gh too.................

I'm just wondering how a chronic injury/pain came out of NOWHERE

not as bad this morning.

Took a members advice and shit some of my GH directly into enflamed area...............feels a lot better,

Bro, i really think that problem has to do with tendonitis.
My right wrist is exactly how you describe yours, it was caused from repetition of throwing freight in a distribution center. Its a bitch.

Just try to take calcium and magnesium, and amino acids, and a joint complex. Those are the best things , all those plus lotsa of time/rest is only thing that will help.

Oh ya bro, might want to try out some Glucosa cream by VPX. Haven't tried it yet, but I have been wanting to. Its a topical joint cream, and that would make sense when you have tendon/joints in a localized area that are aching.
Just another suggestion. gluck bro

Thanks Bro - much appreciation.

Yup.. its definitely the gh.. Been on gh for around 4 months now and started on 4iu's every day.. After around 2 months I started getting a thumb ache when I woke every morning. I did a little research and heard a lot about Carpel tunnel and how mild suffering kinda confirms that your gh is legit.lol.. At this point I had numb fingers and the pain was quite bad but still "train through-able"... In fact I was just happy I got some good growth. I dropped down my dose to 5 on and 2 off and it was still getting worse, then I naturally dropped to 3ius 5 on and 2 off, then the other day after shaking someones hand my wrist and thumb became Mullered..!! i've just had a knee op 3 weeks ago and the pain in comparison was a piece ah piss compared to my hand.. Can't handshake, pull my **** out for a piss, pull my jeans up... My thumb has looked obese for a while but now its phat as hell and I now get pain even when resting in a normal position, never mind the normal thousands of ways you can antagonize it day to day.. An electric shock followed by a deep swollen ache 20 times a day is horrible.. Gh (Hyge) at a relativity small dose definately caused me to get Dequervain's Tendonitis. I have every symptom down to a tee even down to a red line along the tendon on my skin..
I reluctantly stopped the gh the other day and I'm waiting for an Xray and Mri but one thing I will say is, the last few days whilst my wrist has been at its worse (stopped training) I read some stuff on this guy harping on about how Anti inflams, painkillers and injections are shite and won't really work for most kinds of tendonitis.. It only an icing technique but I swear down after 2 days Its slowly starting to ease a bit.. Not getting too excited yet but his simple technique might be actually working.. Nothing to loose whilst waiting years for a MRI and X ray..

I'd post the link but I'm unable to due to my lack of posts??
