not sure really where to start. i'm 23 years old, 5'8, 175 pounds, and the last time i checked by BF% it was mid to high 20's.

i'm looking to burn fat, and get super lean. i weighed appox. 187 the end of dec.

i try work out 3-5 days a week...40 minutes of lifting/circuit training (alternating body parts each day), and 40 minutes of cardio.

i would LOVE for someone to critique my daily diet...i try to keep my calorie intake between 1000-1300. (i've been told that my calorie intake is too low....) i use fitday.com to keep track.

breakfast (0800) myo-plex light, made with soy milk...(usually split this w/ my mum so i'm only getting half.)

snack (1100) apple

lunch (1400) salad w/ lean protein ( 3oz. tuna, turkey, or chicken), and light dressing.

dinner (1800) baked chicken breast (4 oz.), brown rice (.5 cup), and steamed veggies (1 cup)

sometimes i'll have a snack after dinner, but i feel guilty eating so close to bedtime.

Any thoughts or comments would be so appreciated. Thanks so much xx

welp. here i am. 9 weeks after my first post here on EF.

i'm down 14 pounds since then, and 26 pounds since december. i'm currently weighing in at 161 compared to my high of 187.

i honestly have never felt so proud of myself. i'm SO much stronger, and my muscle definition has come out like never before. my stamina feels like 1000 times better...and i'm planning on completing a mini-triathalon in september...

i'm almost confident enough to post a photo!! haha maybe not yet....:D

That's huge progress. Congrats! Please feel free to share some specifics about you diet and training. Did it change since your original post? Did you ever get stuck and have to readjust?

OMG that is so awesome! I love success stories!!!!
Thank you for posting too. You are motivating me and a bunch of other people too I bet.
Keep kicking ass! :)

Great job girl. You give motivation to many posting this for all of us.
You have come a long way and I hope you are hear for a long time and get much more from the site and people here.

thanks so much guys...it means a lot.

my meal plans have changed a bit. i try to change them up as much as possible while staying within my calories....but i've upped my calories, replaced my apple in the morning, with non-fat greek yogurt, and sometimes have a slice of whole wheat bread with chicken and lettuce, tomato, etc. instead of the salad.

today at the gym i tried this new class called functional fitness training. it's bascially a version of Crossfit (they just can't call it that...) There were 6 of us in the class, 3 girls, and 3 guys....i finished first out of anyone!!! the instructor was very impressed....AND SO WAS I!!! (it felt great to beat the boys asses!!)
