I'm 31 know with 2 great kids, but that was a long hard road.......I did my first steroid cycle at about 22 and at that time I was young, dumb, and invincible. I didn't read up the way one should, As I said I don't care. Ya at that moment I probably didn't. After some cycles of Test E, Winny, Prop, Anadrol, Dbol, Tren, etc not always proper PCT or none at all with short off time bouncing back on. I married young as well my wife and I married at age 23. After we struggled to have kids for 2 yrs I went to a specialist had bloods done over and over. My test levels and hormones were all good surprisingly....But my sperm count was 10-12,000 WOW...the average is between 20-40 million. I was SCREWED. I had many expenses to try to help and a 14k surgery to remove a few vains around the nuts that they say in small cases can raise sperm count slightly. Well after a lot of stress on me and the wife what else do you have besides hope. I went ahead and did it, and at that age toke me only a year of busting ass to pay back. Low and behold it DIDN'T work..no raise at all. So we went to a big time place and another specialist said only 1 option invetro by lab 20k upfront.....was not easy to get. They toke here eggs and my sperm and made the embryos, then injected it in her. I have one left we plan on trying this yr. Another 3k upfront to have it unfroze and injected not to mention the Protest shots my wife has to take the entire cycle. Maybe I was screwed before the steroids maybe not...But this could happen.

I am not against steroids I still cycle them...Just saying Read, Grow, and Mature first.

Great post man, and thanks for sharing. This is another reason I always recommend waiting to start cycles until much later than most. I think people should wait until their 30s to cycle, but that's me. I didn't start until 35 myself, and after I was married with all the kids I'm going to have. I also built a great foundation naturally and learned to train and eat right. There are other consequences to cycling too young that many don't think about or realize

I've seen a few guys who run gear year around still get there girl pregnant, and they have been running 10+ years

This has happened yes but also each to there own. I do not know if this is the sole reason....but either do doctors. What I do know is I abused before hand and It can and has shut people down, so ultimately every situation may differ....I'm just putting my story and situation out there, as in the end everyone will do what they want to do and reference back to your case I know someone that still had children. This was a very difficult time as you can not produce a child for your wife. Many people split up do to such a thing a lot of bad feelings and fighting. I do believe steroids played a part. You may not.

Wow...thanks for the share bro, and to just think that up front cost for your kids is just the beginning lol! Raising them, supporting them, schools, college, extra curricular activities, all the above will make those costs just a drop in the bucket bro...I am 42, did same stupid shit...although when I started the internet was fairly new, and EF wasn't around...so we relied on books...and bros at the gym. I have 2 daughters, happily married, and still cycle myself...but I guess I got lucky as my recent little girl was conceived shortly after I was done with a cycle and my wife was maybe 6 weeks off the pill...guess it was meant to be lol! Good luck with your family bro...and hopefully you won't get banned again here lmao...sorry, had to give you shit! Any friend of Nates is a friend of ours bro!!!

LOL....it was a fun and warm welcome. And glad to see you guys all run together. I used to frequent BOS forum under a different user name a yr or so ago, and you had clicks.

at 21 a person is still very immature. they haven't put enough hours in the gym yet to build a base either.

thats my opinion and I know a lot of guys are gonna be butt hurt by that but its the truth. there is no way the 21 year old steve could ever be as massive and strong as the 31 year old steve today is, doesn't matter how much AAS the 21 year old version could have taken.

glad I waited till my late 20's to juice. built a nice base and then hopped on the juice to zoom to the next level

I was 31 when I started...so 11 years ago, built my foundation naturally for many years, so when I was 31 it was 2001-2002...yeah I guess the internet was around then? EF wasn't...or was it?? Like you Steve I waited until I was into my 30's before I even ran a cycle, my mind has some slippage, but fuck anyway point has been made, wish I had this forum and all this knowledge here when I did my first few cycles, wouldn't have made the mistakes and dumb decisions I did back then...like no PCT or cycle support ancillaries.

This is a great tool and resource if used correctly, and hope to have it for many years to come!

i started when i was 21 all based on the first contest i ever did. was just a small town show and they did things by height and not weight. I was 5'11 165 shredded on stage and looked good. the 2 top finishers were gigantic compared to me. was kind of intimidated. heard them talking about what "supplements" they used to prep for the show. I knew i had to get some. i still remember the day i went into gnc and asked them if they had any winstrol because i couldn't find it anywhere on the shelf. luckily i was mentored well i eased into steroids. looking back i wish i would have waited until later.. 25 or 26 to start.

Think about it:

Male humans that are in the shape of their life both fysicaly and mentaly, are funny enough the most horniest and the ones that do have the best sperm count! So dont be botherd by being constantly horny, it just means that your actually reddy to produce a healthy human child and that your body has the capabilty to reproduce

I my self, not going to brawl am freaking crazy honry. Im like a predator walking the freaking streets, and when i get it on with ma girl i am able to recover within 1miniute if not just strait away. My endurance tops at 1hour of hardwork, and this can be repeated 4times.

EQ is at 95% which is quite good, My girlfriend kinda hates it.. A thouch or a kiss and im allreaddy in the mood... It actually makes her mad often ;)

Thing is, when im drunk or im on cycle all the things i discribe are totally ruined. So the truth is, taking something harmfull for your body or something that changes it from homostatis is going to ruin your sexual life in some matter. Makes you think alittle bit before decideing whether your going to or not..

And credit to my man Gorilla-pharma! nice to see some people talking about the negs of doing what some of us choice to do.

I was 21 when I started. I was trying to get started at 18 and 19. All three ages were before I had any internet or anything. So shiot was WAYYYYYYYY hard to locate back then. My intentions were to go on and never come off as I was trying to get into pro wrestling at the time.
I'm glad that by the time i was 21 right before we got internet I had a guy that sorta knew what he was doing to kinda guide me.
Then right after that I found EF in 2001. Man oh man I couldnt imagine life without EF.

So I'm glad I didnt get started til 21. In hind sight I'm not sorry i started then but wish I new more about pct, diet ect...
No issues having a kid at age 25. We did however try IVF a couple years ago due to the wife having her tubes tied and at age 33-34 my sperm count was a third the normal range. Couple real long cycles in the couple years right before probably didnt help.

reminds me of when I used to believe that the strongest I would ever be was my 20's. now i laugh at how weak i was back then. the bottom line is those guys that destroyed you in the show were older, more experienced and more mature.

when i officiate high school football or judge high school weightlifters I can't believer how small they seem to me. I mean seriously these are the strongest 17-18 year olds in town? really? even the strongest dudes are still very immature and weak. but back then when I was their age those dudes were monsters to me. I laugh when they throw a hissy fit after a bad call or something, they have skinny arms and small shoulders and think they are tough (which they are to their peers but not when they walk into a gym full of guys in their 30's and 40's who been in the game for 20 years) . and bet they are on juice too. it just shows how immature and undeveloped an 18 year old is compared to a 30 or 40 year old.

the funniest thing is the time i watched a soccer brawl between 2 high school teams. LOL. how many of those shrimps would it take to take down some of the guys on EF? but they are awfully tough against each other.. 125 pounder vs. 128 pounder. max bench 85 pounds?

It kills me to see some of the faggotry that goes on with teens. Especially in my gym. Even some adults. Christ my 11 yr old is the size of these 14 yr olds we have running around....

Two semi homo teens in my gym having social hour by the leg sled on my son's leg day. I give them a 5 minute grace to see if they know wtf they are doing or just wasting area we need.(they were doing 4 rep sets with 225) Then I get mad after 5 minutes of standing around and go over and say , excuse me...you ladies about done with the sled? They move, but ask if they should unlead the weight I say no. My 11 yr old sits down and reps out a dozen with their 225. Then I throw on 405 that he gets for a double.... we were both laughing hysterically. These kids were like 15-16.

to completely utilize the benefits of using aas.. u need to be both physical and mental sound and ready. a lot of younger guys have the base and the build but are not even close to being mentally ready.

kids have been getting smaller i feel.. i never remember being as small as they seem now back when i was a teeny bopper

I was a big ol' boy back in high school - about 5'10" and 225 lbs. I was an offensive lineman so my % BF was definitely up there, but I was strong as hell for a 16 year old. I made the 1000 lb club (335 lb flat bench, 435 lb squat, 250 lb clean), got a shirt for it, thought that this was the highlight of my life as far as lifting went (). I solidified that though when I started training only MMA for a summer and lost a ton of fat, but a lot of strength with it. Dropped down to about 175 at my lowest and grew an inch to top it off.

Looking back now, I have to laugh at my sentiments, because it felt like it took me FOREVER to build that strength back up. In hindsight, it really only took me about 2 years, if that. I went from being 225 lbs and ~20% BF in early high school to being 175 lbs ~8-10% BF in late high school and back to being 195-200 lbs and 10% BF two years later with all of my strength gains completely recovered.

Moral of the story is, you tend not to think in the context of the big picture until a big section of that picture has been painted, and at age 18 or 19 or 20, you've got no pretext to judge from. When you feel like you're not making any gains naturally, just wait longer and when you look back, I think youll see otherwise.

^^^ after high school I would only lift in college here and there.. i was working 2 jobs and going to school fulltime including class on saturday. and my gym in college was garbage. i think thats pretty normal to ease off at that age. i would say my diet now is 100X better than it was back then. i remember I would eat fazoli's or mcondalds for lunch in high school, thats really all i had time for or could afford.. we got like 40 minutes for lunch only. even on that shitty diet i still was 8th in my state in weightlifting and county champion... i was such a hardworker and our coach was very serious, we even would come in to lift on saturdays and over the summer break... if i knew back then what i knew now who knows how much of a beast i could of been, but there is no way i could of afforded the food i spend now

You were a beast in high school...that's were genetics come in. I was a wrestler and in high school I was at 145lbs class. I was strong though and was a what we called a swing wrestler, if second string could when at 145lbs in a tournament is wrestle up a class or 2 (152 or 160) to try and better the team score. But I didn't get hard into lifting tell I went to a tech school and meet some guys that were all about the Iron. Blended Broccoli and all types of shit in the blender for posts as we didn't have a lot of money. Ha

Yea I remember the swing wrestlers we had at our high school that were beatly like that. One of them was a 190 wrestling 215s.

Yea my old man played college ball as a D-lineman so I build pretty well and have pretty good strength, but cutting down under 10% is extremely difficult for me. I suppose we all have to give up something though

Stevesmi, I feel your pain - its hard for me to afford really good food all the time, both as far as cost in cash and cost in time (I eat well when I can). But I think trying to nail down good diet and training habits now will help later.
