Musical talent revived?!

Pat doesn't have it in her any more. Can't get the anrgy going, she's like 60 now. Pretty much her songs were about bad things. LOL. All the chicks from the 80's love her though.

disagree, I bet she can still kick ass. That's like saying Rober Plant doesn't have it anymore, and yet he does.
 
I would have liked to see the Yardbirds when Page, Beck, and Clapton were all members (there was a time, right?)

And some of the Glitter-rock era bands/acts like New York Dolls, David Bowie/Mick Ronson, Marc Bolan, but not that fat ass Gary Glitter because he's some sort of nasty pedo.
 
Firehouse, Guns -n- Roses, Nirvana & Chicago, oh and Motley Crue. I don't think they tour anymore either.

Nope, all at different times, Clapton - then Beck, then Page (although Beck & Page did one recording).

I saw Bowie, Ronson with Mott the Hoople, T-Rex are great fun too (didn't catch them).

Saw ELP in their hayday with my brother (space ship came down - very cool)

Saw Yes with Rick Wakeman about 5 times

p.s. I lived right near the Boston Garden BTW...

Yeah, I hope they can pull it off. Problem is, the guitarist had a stroke, and the bassist is on kidney dialysis.

I honestly think I've seen most of the big ones, between the Boston Garden (near my house) and Berklee Performance Center (pretty close too).

Todd is a great studio player, not that good live (uses tape loops)

Yes, didn't he innovate some of those techniques artists like Laurie Anderson and Terry O'Reilly used?

He is one of the early experimental artists so I would bet so; a number of years ago -he had a website that had all the albums he produced as the background, it was truly incredible, I think that is what he does now mainly for a living.
 
I admit digging a pooping hole involves a little more engineering than picking out a peeing tree, but I think I can avoid befuddlement if I write the schematics on my arm.

I thought she was still active but doing blues.

I want to see Sebastian Bach make some good music.

I want the original GNR back which will never happen.

Benatar still does outdoor festival type shows. Her husband is still the bandleader.

She made some blues LP a few yrs back, but that was it. I want to see her rock again.
And yes I would LOVE to see skid row back together with Rob and Seb. Seb is one of the best metal singers ever.
GNR would be another awesome comeback. I played them on the Guitar Hero for wii last night......no not mine, my nephews...haha!

Mouse has an knowledge of music that needs to be appreciated. Yall youngsters don't need to like the music but need to know this story to see where other music comes from. Lou Reed known for the song "Walk On The Wild Side" is the most famous member of the band, but many other bands came from this band and it's music. Like I said, you don't have to dig this band, but I bet you do like bands who got their inspiration from The Velvet Underground. Just spend a few minutes and lsten to the story....

Thanks, I think we were fortunate to grow up at a great time for music.

My interests are extremely diverse.
