If you go to Vitaplus-Online.com you will find a great site that sell supplements and offers advice to it's readers. Well a while back there was an article written to dispel al the MT Myths that are used in their advertising to get new customers. Example. they use pharmaceutical dextrose in Celltech well that's BS Dextrose is Dextrose and it's that simple. Also there was reader mail that was answered honestly although Muscle tech accused the writer of lying to sell competitors products. Anyway the writer went off on Muscletech and they have now threatened the company with their legal team. A bunch of horse shit and if he does not sign a document that says that he must no longer discuss any Muscletech Products on his site he will face legal action. Sounds like the amendments don't apply to those with cash and MT make cash. If there are any lawyers out there please advise on how this situation can be handled, and I was wondering if this is violation of Freedom of Speech?
Thanks

Call their bluff. If he is telling the truth then no harm will come of it.
But everone knows that MT products are the best on the planet. lol ;)

yeah, just flip through any Muscle Mag, it is one big giant ad for MT, they make me want to puke. All those articles on Hydroxycut, what a bunch of BS!!!!

It's not freedom of speech. If you state something untrue about a product, they can sue your ass until the cows come home. If it might be true and you can't prove, they'll still come after you and win. It's called slander and that's not legal.

i think musclecrap has its lawyers going after T-mag.com
and they don't bash the supplements--just make fun of their advertisments and kovacs

Just make sure he is telling the truth and have something to back those truths up. He could get into a lot of trouble if what he is saying is false -- were not only talking defamation but a host of other violations for unfair business practices as well.

He actually took the article down and and feels that he has been wronged, but also knows that he does not have the means to challenge MT. A legal battle like this could cost millions and he just dosen't have that kind of funds to prove he's right. Meanwhile all these rookie Bodybuilders are getting sold on marketing rather than quality. I herd rumor that MT invests 70% on marketing tell me how much does leave for research and development???
