Muscle memory and AAS

i went and did a boot camp cause a buddy of mine wanted to kick the shit out of me. he had us do 100 burpees to start and hammered away with wall squats.

at this time I was running 45 miles per week + weightlifting 3X per week, I was a triathlete and in top shape. after that workout my glutes and outer thighs were so sore it took a week for the soreness to go away. so the point is even though I had tremendous conditioning all around the body will react to something new.
 
you will never look the same ever once you peak, question is did you ever peak? if you are still under 35 the answer is probably no. with bodybuilders mid to late 30's is the peak.

in terms of strength hell yeah you can keep improving.. most of the strongest dudes in the gym are well into their 40's


I'm 29 and maintained 225lbs with fully visible abs for a few years. Could I have gotten bigger? Yea probably, but I didn't want to and still don't. What is like is to get back to that point so I can just maintain on TRT again like I was doing. Getting there took high doses though. I'd love to get back there with low doses, and I'm wondering is the muscle memory will enable that

On less AAS though? That's what I am asking.

I am an advanced bodybuilder, follow the mountain dog diet, and train smart. Have been doing these things for years. Just never had to take a forced break before so this is new territory for me.
