Multiple Jabs

Hey, is it reasonable in the case of large cc injections to jab multiple sites with the same needle? After all, the needle is going back into the same body.

Maybe you misunderstand. Suppose you inject 4cc of Deca weekly (Organon). You do 2cc in each glute with same pin. Thanks for your assistance.

Yes- use different pins for EVERY injection you do.

um.....I dont think anyone misunderstood.

If you are doing 4 cc's - use two separate syringes.....they are a lot cheaper than having an abcess drained.

500 plus posts and this is a question.....not flaming you bro.....but come on......under no circumstances do you use the same pin twice..

while it's best to use a differnet needle I do it a lot out of convience......most, if not all, infections are from contaminated gear, not dirty skin.....I give IM injections every day in the dirtiest place on the body, the mouth, and my patients never get an infection....I also give them multiple injections with the same needle....again, it's best to use a new nedle but injecting with the same one shouldn't be a problem......

Key words here are pinz are cheap...I always us a big gauge to draw, and that way my pin stays super sharp....and never do more than 2 1/2 cc in glutes.
