the only good thing about it is the size, I like flip phones but I can't hear worth a shit on it, every call goes on the speaker.
I am getting a blackberry soon though, still probably won't hear worth a shit on it though.

I found the reception was terrible and it was a low quality phone. I have a Sanyo Katana right now (similar to a razr) and I'm totally satisfied.
Don't get first gen ones, they have a major issue with dust getting under the screen. Mine is plenty loud, like the size, just wish I could stop the dust problems. Thought it was just me but doing research all the first gen razrs have this problem.
I had some samsung phone before that and couldn't hear a damn thing the volume sucked so bad.

I picked up a dopod d810 in Kuala lumpur last month, it along with a O2 blow a blackberry out imo but you can only put them on a cingular or tmoble plan in the states. Sony ericson has some sick new phones out over here (like the k800) and Nokia has the N95 (5mp camera and slim) but they will be the same for the US carriers(cingular/tmoble) I'm sure the sony/James bond phone is out in the states and it's a pretty sweet way to go.

bottomline though the Blackberry pearl is about the best thing going in the states if you aren't running a quadband chip phone right now. However all the touch screens will be coming in the next 6 months so that will change things up.

I've had a Razr for about a year and a half... No issues with it. Solid phone, IMO. I have no reason to bitch about it.

I HATE THE RAZOR, I drop my phone alot, it broke after a few times droping it. I went back to my old phone that I have dropped over a hundred times and that fucker is still working. Its a very old school phone, no color or camera.
