My 4 year old does the same thing. Every restuarant we've eaten at has been bombed about 3 minute after getting our food. He's just making room I guess. LOL.

It's annoying BTW.

werent you the guy with the ass-wiping problems thread?

I see a pattern here.
Yes, there is a pattern and either it's pointing to a GI disorder, a food allergy, or a remarkably rapid metabolism.

lilj888, take it as it's being said, any possibility you've got IBS/Crohn's/food allergies/intolerances?

A doctor would be more qualified to answer this question.

I agree with Musclemom. Likely allergies (gluten possibly), fat absorption problems (due to pancreas problems or gallbladder problems), etc.

Go see a doc.

I forgot to mention that some people have a strong gastrocolic reflex. Even without a food allergy or serious underlying medical condition, these people just have a strong reflex that triggers a bowel movement. (The gastrocolic reflex is present in everyone, some more than others.)

Proton pump inhibitors (Prilosec, Protonix, etc.) have been shown to help. Nobody seems to know why.

At any rate, you really should make sure you don't have a serious condition (allergy, pancreas or gallbladder dysfunction, etc.) before you go self-medicating yourself.
