So, I decided that before I did anything I would lose all this bodyfat I was carrying around, down 25 pounds this month, need to lose another 20 or so. Been doing cardio and starting to lift again, physically drained a little due to limited carb intake, but I'll make it.

How's eveyone else doing
 
Just started cutting yesterday. Dropped to a 2200-2300 cal diet and started taking lipoflames. So far so good. Trying to loose 12lbs in 4 weeks or as close to it as possible. I'm an ecto so I think I can do it.
 
how many carbs are you guys aiming for a day? just curious...
ill be starting my first cut diet in 5 weeks...andy tips?
 
Here is the diet I set up for myself:
Meal 1: 450kcal, 5.5g fat, 58.5g carbs, 42g protein
Meal 2: 465kcal, 15.5g fat, 42g carbs, 45g protein
Meal 3: 272kcal, 2g fat, 48g carbs, 15g protein
Meal 4: 185kcal, 1g fat, 10g carbs, 32.5g protein
Meal 5: 185kcal, 1g fat, 10g carbs, 32.5g protein
Meal 6: 272kcal, 2g fat, 48g carbs, 15g protein
Meal 7: 370kcal, 2g fat, 20g carbs, 65g protein
Total: 2199kcal, 29g fat, 236.5g carbs, 247g protein 12/43/45 split

Meal 1: 3/4 cup whole grain cereal with 4oz skim plus milk, 1 scoop pro complex with 4oz skim plus milk
Meal 2: sandwich (1 can tuna, 1 slice cheese, 1tbsp mayo)
Meal 3: crock pot chicken, rice, and veggies
Meal 4: (pre workout) 1 scoop pro complex with 4oz skim plus milk
Meal 5: (post workout) 1 scoop pro complex with 4oz skim plus milk
Meal 6: crock pot chicken, rice, and veggies
Meal 7: 2 scoops pro complex with 8oz milk

My BMR is about 1750 and I am shooting for around 2200-2300 cals a day.
 
Also here is the basic recipe for the crock pot chicken rice and veggies I make (all rights reserved mus1cjunk1e lol) :

Crock Pot Chicken Recipe for cutting 3 days food:
1.5 cups brown rice cooked separately (900kcal, 6g fat, 192g carbs, 18g protein)
1 lbs green beans (80kcal, 0g fat, 20g carbs, 4g protein)
1 lbs baby carrots (203kcal, 0g fat, 48g carbs, 5g protein)
1 pepper (red or green) (50kcal, 0g fat, 10g carbs, 2g protein)
1 onion (63kcal, 0g fat, 15g carbs, 1g protein)
3 lbs lean chicken breast (240kcal, 3g fat, 0g carbs, 48g protein)
1 can condensed chicken broth (95kcal, 3g fat, 2g carbs, 13g protein)
1/2 broth can of water
Total: 1631kcal, 12g fat, 287g carbs, 91g protein
divided by 3: 544kcal, 4g fat, 96g carbs, 30g protein per day
divided by 2: 272kcal, 2g fat, 48g carbs, 15g protein per meal

Put veggies in first, creating a dip in the middle for the chicken. Put in the chicken cutlets whole. Pour in the can of broth and then half a can of water. I then add in Ms Dash chicken seasoning liberally (no salt in there) and sometimes a squirt or two of lemon juice. Then I just throw it on low overnight for 8-10 hours. When it's done I throw it in containers with the rice. Also I throw in a clove of garlic cut up when I feel like bothering.

I'm only 165 right now :( I'll be 155 or less when I'm done cutting. I'm only 5'8" and a total ecto.

Wow my scale is a piece of shit. My BMR is definitely at least 2000 cals not the 1750 bullshit my scale was telling me. I ate only about 2200 or 2300 cals yesterday and I was so hungry it was ridiculous. I'm already down 2 lbs in 2 days (part of which I'm sure is water weight from sweating on the lipoflames) but that is too much too fast. I upped my cals to about 2500 today so I'll see how that goes.

If anyone is thinking of getting one of those scales that tells you your bf%, weight, BMR, water % and all that dont bother, just get a decent one that will tell you your weight only. They suck. Mine has been telling me that my lean body mass has been the same for the last 3 months when I have put on at least 6 lbs of muscle.
 
I'm at 236lbs right now. I can cut slowly with 2500cals and not lose energy. My goal is 225lbs. That should put me in the high single digits for BF - maybe 10% but hopefully 8%.

Eating lot's of fat free plain yogurt with grapefruit and 300g of protein / day - no sugar, no bread, no pasta, no desserts is the key for me.

I don't know much about cutting but that seems strange to me that you are 236 and can cut slowly with 2500 but I am only 165 and seem to be able to cut fairly fast on 2500 with some carbs (and anything less and I am friggin starving). Possibly because I have about double your body fat so it's easier to loose? Or maybe because I am a total ectomorph? Are you an endo or an ecto? I'm trying to learn more about cutting diets.

I am the most extreme version of an endomorph there is. I can gain fat and muscle like nothing but very hard to lose. At 2500 cals I lose a pound every two weeks steady with 30 min cardio and 60 min weights 5 days a week, plus about a 4KM walk every day and walking at work for about 4 more KM.
 
Ahh that makes sense, thanks for the info. I am basically the opposite. Super ectomorph. Takes a ton of cals to bulk and I still gain slow, but I can knock fat off like it's nothing I just have to watch for muscle loss. Not sure which one I'd rather be.

Thanks.. Need size now though... I feel small when i go under 200 lbs..
I guess since summer is here and I live in Vegas I will hold up on the bulking.
Gotta keep that bedroom body for these bitches out here..
