When the US cant make money on something they try to bring it down.( like weed, steroids, prostitustion ) Now, if they could spin it to the people that these things could be positive, the government would be all for it. As long as they are the ones calling the shots.

Thanks for the link Bro.

I think it is sad that the "Good Old USA" is spending so much time and money on Steroids when they are legal in most of the other countries.

Homeless people in the US? Fuck 'em
Starving people in the US" Fuck them too
Homeless starving Vets in the US? Yeah, especially fuck them
Uneducated poor kids? Fuck them
Over crowded prisons? Fuck them guys
A broken health care system? They can go fuck themselves

Lets focus are time, energy, and MONEY on other things more important then the above mentioned list, like, umm, Steroids. Yeah, that will make the quality of life in America better for everyone. It makes no sense to me at all. Ok, that's it for my rant. I am done.

One of the best posts I've ever read on this topic. Maybe THE best post.

With all the childhood slavery and prostitution in Thailand it's nice to see that the authorities invested their resources in something more important. According the the media coverage and international law enforcement crackdowns, steroids necessarily must do more harm than human trafficking

I can tell you this, I have spent some time in Pattaya and many years in Thailand and can assure you there is more to this story than you are seeing here. That place has to be the most decadent place in the world and the only way the police would have taken action is if they had another reason ($$) on either side to provoke this. The DEA was just facilitated the bust.

Either an enemy of this guy put the police up to this or he pissed the police off and they did it as revenge.

PS - anyone who goes there to do business is completely nuts !!

it's all about politics, promotions and power.

the media did a FINE job demonizing steroids
and set the stage for LE to "save the day"

plenty of boys gettin raises and promotions in
the DEA. plenty of politicians securing their
positions and insuring their "climb to the top"

i feel you, but no reason to wax philosophical
about it.

u.s. gov. business as usual.

Thanks for your input. I'm sure with many things politics like you mention play a big role. I read somewhere that Ricky Ross most likely wouldn't have been busted in the big coke smuggling operation had he invested more in bribing local authorities and kissing the right asses.

This brings me to question whether or not the other popular :artist: Thai-based source is close to being shut down. I am a bit concerned....

Steriods = Big $$$$ but no Taxes for the politicians. Thats why they are using the DEA to shut down operations inside & outside the US. They will never win, as its all about Supply & Demand!

Bin Laden should get into the steroid business, the US can't seem to catch him.
