As I stated in the thread started by getbig27, I posted the question to George if it would be possible to have an elite online BB contest. I also inquired about a possible elite NPC contest in the future. I posted this thread on the select board. George's response was that he had thought that it was a great idea, and had wanted to do something like this for years. I think that he wants to reserve the right to enter this contest to platinum members, to help cover the cost of this event. I may be wrong on this, but it is understandable if that is the case. We get a lot from this board for free. George also stated that he's looking for ideas on ways that we may pull this off.:D
 
Contest online? How would that work? Just curious. I would definately be interested in a real contest... just think of all the big mofo's on here that could do it.

Here are my initial thoughts:

1. I love this idea and have always wanted to have a Mr. Internet or Mr. Elite Fitness contest.

2. I want there to be a real prize of several grand or more. This will make the contest worthwhile for the competitors.

3. I want this to be for Platinum members. We need to generate revenues for the prize and this would also prevent lots of voter fraud from those with multiple accounts as well as support the site.

4. The winner would be flown to NY at our expense for a photo shoot, to collect the prize money, and for us to make sure the pics were legit.
 
I love the idea! I think it would be cool as hell to see all of the iron lovers battle it out online!!! Even cooler if members could view all of the competition on a pose by pose comparison and then vote on them, have a callouts, finals the whole 9!

Sounds like a kick ass idea. I will most definatley have to join Elite Platinum.

One question, is this event going to be tested?? LOL
 
Leave it to George to do it the right way....great idea. I have thought about this type of thing right along, but didn't have an answer to the fake pics/voting problems......Get that masters division trophy ready for me, George.

This is sounding great, let's push to get the ball rolling. ideas, dates,( I would like to shoot for spring so that we can do a NPC show as well as the elite comp.) Rules? hell let George take care of that. And by the way Ironmaster I hope that you won't be to upset with second in the master's.:D
 
Ironmaster you got me there I have another 5 years to wait. I think that you may be immortal like the highlander though.

From what I have heard, George has developed a special drug testing program that is downloaded onto your hard drive.
Once installed, all the competitor must do is piss on the screen of their computer and the urine is automatically analysed, and the results are sent in.:D
 
i think if nothing else this is great for the guys that dont normally compete that just lift and eat until their waist is where they dont want it to be....or the guy who needs something to motivate him to stick with working out. this competition gives everyone a chance to show all their hard work off as well as get into great condition. and i think for alot of guys seeing themselves with a ripped six pack will do wonders for the way they see themselves. i can vouch for this because i used to be "eat big to get big" no matter what and i never knew i had abs.....then last year i was challenged to get up on stage and man ONCE I CUT UP AND SAW HOW I LOOKED AND MY ABS AND THE STRIATIONS....HOOOLY SHIIT!!! I SAID THIS IS FOR ME... i dont walk around ripped all the time but 1) i know i can do it and 2)i maintain a more athletic muscular look now as apposed to my "big sloppy" self.
 
The Highlander must use GH and tons of test, then, liftsiron.
No joke, these are the true anti-aging miracle drugs. I can prove it. At 53, I've never felt or looked better. You know the benefits of GH, and test even blocks cortisones......the hormone that degrades our immune system and helps us fall apart from illness as we age. I haven't even had a cold/flu in years....how about you?
 
this is a really good idea...Im in ...first gotta get the platinum membership......Defiantely have to shoot for around April or so though....give people some time...like myself..who just had surgery......

Im sure we would have to break it into weight classes right?...

This could be very interesting....might make a lot of people who talk big...look. real small...lol...

We should also make it a rule all mods MUST be in it.....

Lobo I think that you George and your three NPC judge friends make a good panel, I likly will be an NPC judge by then myself.:D
