More Growth Than You'd Get On Steroids

Impossible to overtrain IF only doing that body part ONCE a WEEK. Train chest 3 times a week and you will be over trained. Just to clarify. But I get your point. Good post.

How is it impossible? You only have ONE recovery system, not a system for each individual muscle group. What you said means that even if someone did 40-50 sets for each group then they could do that 6-7 days a week without any worry of overtraining.

If you want to build muscle (unless you have Flex or Dillet's genetics), you need compond movements and progressively heavier weight. Compound means you use several muscle groups and utilize at least two joints. So you can't train "one body part" only once a week. Tris will be involved in chest and shoulder presses for example. Unless you do all isolation movements, but if you try that you won't make progress for shit anyways.

Nah, no personal insults were thrown on either side. Everyone has a right to disagree.

Oh, I know. I'm just making sure it didn't resort to that. I t was an in-advance request.

First off, NM makes good points, but I don't fully understand this "loss of gains" concept.

I constantly read that if you regulate dosage, use AI's for sides/onsets and use proper PCT ...that you should be able to KEEP most of your gains. ...HOW MANY TIMES has this been written before??????????

Now here we go again. If you gain muscle mass fast from Dbol you're going to lose it just as fast?

If this is the case, why would anyone choose to use Dbol or any other fast acting steroid? If the only time you get to have any mass is while you are on ...then it's a waste of time and money ...because YOU CAN'T STAY ON IT ALL THE TIME!

But at the same time there are countless people who post all the time how they KEPT their gains through proper PCT.

So which is it? Do you keep you damnd gains ..or NOT??? ....Is there a consensus or not???????

This is a chapter in itself. The body doesn;t like big gains. It's too much of a struggle to hold onto them. And when no longer anabolicaly enhanced (never mind suppressed) it will lose that extra weight.

It's better to make slower gains so the body can adjust. Sure, steroids can help make it faster. After 5 years of training it's unlikely you'd gain 5 pounds of muscle in a year naturally. With gear, you can gain 5 pounds in a month and with proper PCT, hold onto it. But gains of 25- 35 permanent pounds from one cycle? I'm calling bullshit of that. The only way someone can gain that quickly and keep it is if they're always on or taking very short periods in between cycles... or it's fat.

yeah, seriously. there's no way in hell someone gains 25lbs of lean muscle on 1 cycle. That's absolutely ridiculous.

25 lbs of lean muscle would be such an extremely dramatic change on anyone's body.

100% correct. The problem is the majority of the people that workout are lead to believe that "more is better" when in reality just like you said compound movements is what promotes growth because it stimulates the body's natural growth hormone. I think the reason people go in the gym and go like 6 chest exercises in one day is cause all those ronnie coleman flex magazine routines. I mean come on, people like ronnie and jay are genetic aliens, they can just look at a gym and grow. Eat big, look big, end of the day we all have our limit.
