Well, I have been having some pretty bad lower back troubles over the past year or more, so I have pretty much had to stay away from core muscle builders like squats and deadlifts, which is how I think I screwed it up to begin with. Well, finally decided after struggling with it for over a year to get it checked out. Went to a chiropracter who took x-rays and everything looked perfect so referred me to a medical imaging center to get an MRI taken. Now this SUCKS!!! The doc told me that two of my lowest discs are herniated/slipped and that the the third lowest disc is bulging!!!! I'm like shit and then he goes on to tell me I should stay out of the gym for awhile and probably reevaluate my lifestyle? Well, I was pretty bummed but I've been dealing with it for a year now I guess I'm just gonna have to deal with it for a long time now. Definitely going to stay away from stressful exercises on the lower back and I'll probably look into getting some epideryl cortisone shots to see if that may help a little. Ain't doing surgery though unless it absolutely comes down to that. If any of you guys have any personal experience with this please chime in with your stories or advice. Thanks!
