mods why no relplys back?

Every one is always saying do source checks through mods but there are very few that ever return my secured emails. just a question. but keep up the good work to those who answer all the time . I understand that you guys probally get alot of mail. But you all do a good job. I also was wondering if maybe you guys could create a page where elite members can vote for new canidates on becoming mods. Thanks guys
 
Just a thought - You probably get no replies back because they don't know you. Sources aren't a right - you get them through posting often, helping others, sharing ideas, offering input, etc. Mods may not reply freely to people who's names they don't recognize.

yeah but if he already has a source and is just doing a check then there is no problem there. if he is looking for a source then obviously he won't get anything but he said he was doing a check.
 
True - you are right, I misread the post. :(

Could be the Mod has not heard of the source, has no information on whether souce is good/bad, or has not read the email yet. Just being devil's advocate here. :)

I usually answer all all checks :) (but you already know that :))

very true some mods don't know many people at all that is why it is a good idea lilbob1 to go to more than one board and check with as many mods and vets as possible.
 
it also helps when you pm to let the mod know you sent an email, I dont check my needsize account that much, so emails go unanswered for a while if I dont get pm'd

See sometimes it just takes time...To bad this is not our career, but I would imagine that most of us here{Mods included}have jobs and families to tend to here and there....WORK....sheesh...I hate it:mad:
 
I just checked my e-mail and there sure wasn't anything sent to me.

Make sure you read the mods profile, some dont do source checks for various reasons. Also, keep in mind that many mods get a TON of e-mail, toss in the spam etc and sometimes e-mails get missed or accidentally deleted.

Very good point...due to spam, i had previously turned on the spam blocker,however it blocked some of my e- mails also.
It has since been turned off but i have done like Zyg said and accidently erased some mail.
If i haven't returned any mail, i'm sorry-shit happens!

I answer all e-mails. Maybe your not geting a responce from some of the mods because of the type of e-mail account you are using ? I know a lot of the mods will not waste there time answering source questions through non-secure e-mail accounts. Shoot me an e-mail if I can be of assistance.

Thanks guys i understand that it takes time and it might not even go through sometimes i use cyber rights secure email though. Thanks for the help to the mods that have recieved my emails and thanks for offering the help to.

I checked my mail and there is nothing in it i emailed most of you guys that posted for help. Guards i emailed you but nothing back yet so if you could send again i would appreciate it maybe something is wrong with my mail but i just got one in today. Thanks guys again for the help. my secure email is bob30@cyber-rights.

I emailed you twice dude...maybe THAT'S why no mods have gottern back to you...your email is screwed.
