I can understand people being upset. But as there are many "rag heads" on this board who had nothing to do with this, I think being careful of insults is prudent and only fair to those that too are sharing this pain.

This is true, I know many people can look at a middle easterner this week or for a long while to come and be reminded of this attack (if in fact it was from a middle eastern terrorist group), but there are many of them living in & out of this country that feel badly that this has happened.

My dad's company is owned by Saudis and they closed his company at 1PM today because of the attacks, and it's in Dallas. They watched the news just like we all did and were upset at this tragedy, so let everyone go home for the afternoon to spend w/their families or watch the coverage.

Bigotry and racism does not solve anything, but one thing I agree w/100% -- any country, terrorist organization, or those harboring the responsible party MUST be punished with all vengance and no mercy. And it's hard to overlook all the shit that's been caused by the middle eastern countries for centuries, not to mention the anti-American propoganda that flows from there like dirty water.
