hi ladies -

what are your feelings of locker room nudity? i've had about all that i can take.

the other day, i walked into the girl's locker room (which requires you to walk down this zig-zag hallway) and as i turned the corner to enter, i see some chick bent over with her ass sticking straight up in the air exposing as much of the female genitalia that can possibly be seen from a bent-over position. i was appalled! i involuntarily yelled "on my god!" and walked as quickly past her as i could. i felt violated and the image haunted me throughout my entire workout.

from women blow drying their hair completely naked, to sitting on the locker room benches with NO PANTS or underwear on...

I'VE SEEN ENOUGH! is there no modesty anymore???

does anyone else experience this at their gym or am i just being a prude?

I'm not personally offended by it but it can definitely get obnoxious sometimes. You have to be nude sometimes but it can be annoying when you see someone who is obviously piddling around and could have been dressed 10 minutes ago but she's still completely naked.

I'm guessing the vast majority of the time its about showing off. Could be a sexual thing sometimes but I think that's probably pretty rare. Only once ever have I had anyone give me a look or make a comment of a sexual nature in the dressing room. I was 17 and she was I think 50 which especially wigged me out.

Maybe you should consider speaking to the manager? You're a paying member too.

I don't think it's showing off or sexual (god, at least i hope it's not sexual!). most of the gym "nudists" are older, heavier-set ladies -the kind you NEVER want to see naked.

Well that makes sense because I guess since the biggest "nekkid" offender in my personal history was that same 50ish woman who scammed on me.

I'm still thinking have a word with the manager(s) and maybe they'll post a diplomatically worded sign or two in the ladies dressing room to address all that.

there is a sign in the gym listing the rules and one of the rules addresses the use of modesty in the locker rooms. although, i may still talk to the manager anyway...it's just getting too repulsive.

I think it exists everywhere, and it's not just women. My husband has horror tales from the men's locker room, like the man who stands bent over naked, with his nether-regions on bold display, in front of the sink (a high traffic area) blow drying his hair with the hand dryer on the wall.

I'm no prude either but I think "privates" should be kept for the most part private. There's a definite line between necessary and unnecessary nudity. The worst is when you see women plop down their naked ass on the benches, sink vanity, etc. - ewww!

I pretty much agree with everyone else. While I'm all for people being comfy with their bodies, I think that it's just plain good manners to put on SOMETHING in the locker room. You couldn't pay me to dry my hair naked in the middle of a locker room.

I agree with all of you. Some people just parade around forever. The sitting on the benches without a towel or panties really freaks me out. No need for it.

My friend said that there's a guy in his locker room that parades around naked with a towel on his head to dry his hair????

funny thread you guys-- theres so many naked girls & roided up naked girls in the locker room that Im kinda immune to it.

This one woman pro bodybuilder is kinda nasty cause she sits on the bench naked-- eating her lunch-- usually some heated up meat thing & rice... now that does gross me out
