MMA Fighter Needs HELP

Short answer, if your looking to become a professional in MMA, quit the roids. They do test.

Now if your looking to stay low, like in KOTC, Ring of Fire etc ... then might I recommend testosterone propionate. It doesn't last long and is something to think about before a fight.

I wouldn't stack anything either.

Coming from a MMA background myself my 2 cents is simple, from all the fighters I've trained with.. none of them do roids and would never condone it if your into MMA. We even had GSP at Jacksons for a while. He would tell you the same.

not true......most if not all "top level" MMA guys use steriods. I train with guys that fight on all levels, local shows, wec, ufc......The bigger guys prob more than the smaller guys. Im would bet GSP has had the needle as well....many use HGH for muscle recovery. Its hard to train at that level and not have some help.

Bump that Truck. A few months ago MMA weekly had said that at least 20% are on while competing. Just look at the guuys that have gotten caught lately....Stephan Bonner, Kit Cope, Joe Stevenson was possibly doing GH ...which they cant test for.

I guess I'm referring to steroids such as DECA, Anadrol etc ...

And yes they DO test. I know for a fact in PRIDE they do not, but in UFC they do. UFC doesn't test directly per se, the NSAC which oversees all testing in Boxing does as well in UFC. Anything they test for in Boxing they test for in UFC. In fact Deigo got busted for Marjiuana at one time after fighting Joe Riggs. Which is hilarious to me.

I've trained with Deigo, GSP, and many others as well at lower levels such as in KOTC. And believe me many of them do not condone steriod use especially when they've fought people on steroids.

And to Truckdaddy, no GSP does not use steriods. You can come down to Jackons when he's back in town and ask him yourself. You would be surprised how many fighters don't use steriods. I have seen many fighters on steroids get their asses handed to them by guys who live, breath and train in MMA. Many people get the impression that if you dope up your chances of winning a fight increase dramatically. Simply put, when your up against a professional, dope or not, if you're not conditioned to fight and go 3 five minute rounds (in which many people on steroids can not) then you will lose.

Again I'm not knocking anyone who is in MMA on steroids. I'm simply saying by years of experience, testing does happen and fighting on steroids against a pro isn't wise.
