minoxidil on frontal hairline

Just done a search regarding this with mixed views, for those who have used minoxidil on the frontal hairline is it worth using there or just a waste? Most say its only of any use on the crown.

I have 2% spiro topical which i am going to use twice a day on the crown and frontal areas as well as nizoral EOD.

any input would be great, thanks.

Ive heard minoxidil is useless on trhe front, much like propecia. I use nizoral and it hasnt grown any hair back but its certianly stopped more falling out. I think in this day and age thats all you can hope for. Saw Palmetto may help too

I wouldn't say useless, just known to be less effective than on the crown (minox and finast). If they ARE used, the use must continue, or gains will be lost, and hair will revert to state of baldness that would have been seen had nothing ever been used.

Yeah the minoxidil works at the front but you have to wait
