Military test for steroids?

They do not test for roids at all in the military. Well I guess they could if your commander pushed for it, but they usually won't bother as they'd love to have a bigger member of their Squadron/Platoon/Company/Fleet or whatever you may want to call it.

When I was in the Air Force the bigger you were the more respect you got. So in a way using would be a good choice.

With the recruiting shortfalls right now, they won't test. I wanted to join the military after college (I couldn't because of a back injury) and this was in 2002 before the war and they were disqualifying people for any and all reasons. They're waiving anything right now. In fact an openly gay total flamer doctor was just accepted into the military because he's a specialist and they're so short.

Maybe that specialist is an Urologist...lol :chomp:

You're safe. Last time I checked a roid test costed about $300 a person-and that's the cheap rate you get for testing a whole group of people. My guess is an individual test would be around $500-no way is Uncle Sam floating that bill.

I've heard of testing for roids once from my SP uncle in the air force, he investigated a domestic abuse case where the guy beat his wife- she told him the guy was on juice. My uncle ordered him tested, he came back positive for something (uncle never told me what). The guy ended up with 6-6 and a kick (dishonorable), for all you military folks. So they have that option at their disposal, if you get in a fight or do something violent. And you have no rights, you're not subject to constitutional protection- which means they can do anything they want to you at any time, any place.

True dat. They own your ass. But you've probably gotta do something stupid(like beat your wife and/or murder your mistress) and broadcast to everyone that you're using AAS to get tested. Looking the part won't help your cause either. Wear long sleeves 24/7.

I "know" somebody thats been in for 4 years and has never been tested. And I also "know" a guy that it was obvious that he was on, but they were too lazy to do anything about it. From what I understand, they have tested , but unless you're 5' 10" and 250 lb. they won't bother. Anyways, when you're fightin' in Iraq next year, they won't care what you're on. Have fun.

that last sentance is funny shit sobering but funny...
