any muslim country is more at risk.

israel, for example, would not be a problem as its an ally.

iran, egypt, jordan, lebanon, syria, iraq, and any other country where the main religion is muslim is certainly a red light!

I would agree in terms of countries which support and possibly harbor Hezbollah, Hamas, and al-Qaeda, although I haven't seen any such written policy in this regard yet. In actuality, those inclined to do so could ship the parts for an explosive device on a piece-meal basis. In addition to those countries mentioned, I would also add Yemen, the Philippines as well as Central Asia (Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, and even China's Xinjiang province) to the list.

The problems in the Phillipines are almost always in the southern part of the country. Also if you are going to include the Phillipines which Muslim population is relatively small, you need to include Indonesia (88% or more of the 225 milllion people are Muslim) which is the largest Muslim country in the world. Pakistan is 2nd.

Packages coming from most Middle-Eastern countries WILL be scrutinized more than any other packages. Trust me on that one.

These countries are actually on the "hot list" of Canadian Customs. Means the odds of having a package opened are higher. A lot higher. Small packages sent to P.O. boxes are also opened on a frequent basis.
