They didn't say he was dead.

Well he joined his idols who also died early.

Seriously, after going to doc after doc, subjecting his body to who knows what, year after year -- was it no surprise his body finally gave up? He took horrible care of it, was underweight, and on every drug on the planet. Like he was dogn everythign possible to die.

Sad but he's done everything possible the last 15 years to kick it.

i'm not trying to derail the sadness if it's true, but seriously, middle-eastern politicians fake their asssasination all the time, FBI uses control to fake a persons death under witness protection programs ritually

This guy has been under the knife so many times what makes anyone think he won't slice it all up to completely change his appearance for good?

However many terrible mistakes he (allegedly) made in his life, he also did a lot of really good things too. He was very generous to charity and his music is legendary and he inspired so many people.

What if he was in your family, though? What if your brother or your son made a bad mistake like this, and then when he died, everybody was saying what has been said in here about him?

On a personal note, I don't necessarily think MJ was a child molester in the sense of "pee pee touching", I just think he was a whacko and liked kids so much people took that strange and Parents pry saw it as a money making opportunity.

It's probably impossible for you to answer that since it's never actually happened. I'm a parent and I can't even answer how I would feel.

Death is a very sad thing and I have experienced it more then my fill of it with my family this year so yes I feel for his family. I did say I hope his childern get the support they need to go through life. Am I personaly sad he is dead or will I shed one tear for him? Absolutly not doesn't mean I am happy or dancing on the mans grave either.

If my child were molested, there would be no payoff high enough to get me to not pursue the bastard till he was behind bars. Just the fact that the parents accepted blood money makes me suspicious. Not to mention that his first accuser was recorded saying: "If I go through with this, I win big-time. There's no way I lose. I will get everything I want and they will be destroyed forever...Michael's career will be over." Even the kid's mother insisted he was innocent.

Then consider the psychiatric evaluation done on him during the second trial, where it was said that he had the mental capacity of a "regressed ten year old," and that he did not fit the profile of pedophile. The guy was clearly fucked in the head, which makes it so easy to believe he's a pedo, but the two are not mutually exclusive.

Do I think he's innocent of everything? Don't know. But there's enough there to cast doubt.

I know my initial reaction would be anger and malice against someone who raped my child. I'd want to whoop his ass. I would be more than furious.

I readily forgive people though. I have never held a grudge, even in the worst of circumstances I have yet faced. Maybe this situation would change that but I doubt it.
