Mexicans are pretty much Indians....

It is estimated that Mexicans are really 90% native Indian.

Figure that only Spanish men came over initially.

First generation offspring= 50% Spanish 50% Indian

Second generation= 75% Indian

Third generation= 87.5% Indian....assuming that Spain did not export women for 40 years.

So it could be said that America tries (very little) to close the border to the very people who originally discovered and settled the North American land mass.

Just thought this is an interesting statistic.

last night wasn't a total loss
the only girl I've ever asked out 3 times came up to me and introduced herself
I think I started too early as she was about 17 first time
I told her "you're getting older now"
and walked off to the pool tables with 3 corona's for my mexican buds
fat old guy I ID'd as a shark
it was more fun at the time

I had a large number of men with Mexican heritage working for me when I was in the Ford plants. The age group went from 60's to 20's.

All UAW, very involved in union politics and excellent workers.

It was very clear to me that all of them were very sensitive about their Spanish and Indian heritage. It seemed to me that the more Spanish, the lighter the skin ... the higher the "class" among their group. The more Indian and brown, the lower.

I made sure that each person was treated with dignity no matter their skin color.

she's not a very bright bulb
some suit at the bank has her working a desk outside his office
I was upstairs to see him about a 2 million dollar loan
she kept me waiting while she squared away her lunch plans on the phone
I think I just got approved

I like the Mexican people in general. They are very polite and work hard.

Both of my grandparents are very light skinned and have colored eyes.
My dad is from a town fully settled by Spaniards.
The town were my mom grew up (next town over fro my dads) also had a heavy amount of spaniards settle in. There's a section where people refused to mix with spaniards. You can easily tell who's from what part of town as they are generally shorter and very dark compared to the rest and are also generally poorer.

I've never seen an Indian eating a burrito.
Central and South American natives had very different diets than the plains Indians of North America. However, the statistic brings a new meaning to Montezuma's Revenge. My sister in law is Panamanian and her heritage is Native, hispanic and black.

Perhaps, but many of us dont look 90% native peoples.

My family has Mayan heritage, but you cant see it in my features. I've been mistaken for either spanish or (for some reason) Venezualan.

I think perhaps you are very ignorant about Mexican immigration patterns over the past 500 years or so.
