Men losing friends

Non-erotic male companionship with other males is on the decline in North America, according to a study in the American Sociological Review. Conducted by sociologists at the UA and Duke University, the study found that men have one-third fewer close friends than they did two decades ago - about 2.08 today compared to 2.94 in 1985. The study pointed to the Internet as the primary detractor from friends.

weak people need friends

strong people want friends

UA, for me the circle just gets tighter. Everytime someone royally screws me over, I just say eff it, and move on from them.

did you make that up?
that's pretty good.

Yes, I truly believe it too. This applies to other things as well, most applicably to relationships.

Many guys disappear once they found a GF/get married

I just think people don't have time or patience to put up with A**holes anymore - thereby reducing the people you are in contact with.

i've lost several good guy friends due to the disease called marriage.

but gained a few back from the antidote called divorce.

is the traditional family unit on the rise over the same period?? that would explain it. . .i know that i sure as hell don't have near as much time to spend with the boys (or the desire to do so) as i used to. . .it's all good, though. :)
