I changed jobs recently, which required me to buy a whole new work wardrobe. I bought everything in one place, and didn't even realize what I was spending until I was done.

I wear a 17.5" 34/35 in shirts. I've noticed that in that size, some manufacturers include a LOT of extra material in the front, presumably because if your neck is that big, you're a fatass. Shirts that don't have an assload of extra material are nice.

I usually wear a 34/34 pant, (I'm 6') but my slacks are always tailored to some extent.

A lot of the time, I drag spatts along with me...she's my fashion advisor, but having someone in the store with a good eye for colors is good too.

Also, this may not be a high-fashion thing, but no-iron dress shirts are a godsend. I hate ironing.

These days I only wear black...all black.. jeans and basic shirts.

Its a finding myself thing...

That's cool. I'm not going to make any jokes about your supposed age since I have met you and you're not that old. But it's cool to see someone as established as you still "finding yourself."

He IS that old, he just doesn't look like it apparantly...
When you FIND yourself please let me know because I'm still looking for myself myself.. ..

Good luck with the business! I think you have to look at what the people dress like in the town you are going to be opening your store(S). I am up in the NYC area and around here, casual wear seems to be the norm. From tshirts from deisel and urban outfitters to business casual collared polo's. I work with about 60 20 something year olds and all they wear are jeans and tshirts, that goes for what I see when walking around manhattan. Can't go wrong with a great line of well fitting t shirts that look nice so they can be dressed up with accessories.
I am a 30x32 in pants, 40 jacket and like to shop in stores that are well lit, and not pushy. I prefer the smaller stores, you can find great stuff that isn't worn by everyone. I hate shopping with other people, I feel rushed.
Best of luck to you
