Men, how short are your shorts

I like them to be an inch or two below the knee, workout shorts can go as high as 1/2" above the knee but never beyond.

I went out shopping for shorts earlier and 98% of everything I found was above the knee. I was able to find one pair of nice cargo shorts that suited my style I just wish there were more, specially demin ones.

How long do you like your shorts to be?

LOL i remember BBF posting a pic showing the shorts he wore to the gym...totally short shorts way above the knee, what a fruitcake

always below the knee. I'm 6'5" and have a very hard time finding long shorts.

Dare I say it, Abercrombie has awesome cargo shorts that always fall below the knee. Yes, Ive shopped at Abercrombie.

theres a dude at my gym that still ewars the old style of mens shorts, which by todays standards are very short shorts. I dont get it.

I agree

I hate my shorts, even boardshorts too long

i like a little vastus medialus poppin out and they are easier to move in...make me look more proportional

I wear mine to where at least one of my shaved balls can hang out.

all the "commercially " available shorts are like that, and I'm < 1/4" shy of 6', they make me feel so geeky.

ya ever see any of the old timers and the shorts they wore? those 1970 gym shorts that will allow your balls to rest on the bench when ur benching?

I like them to hit right around the knee.

depends what im doing... chilin/going out in public = right at mid knee or slightly below.. but if im playing sports or something its definitly something shorter and easier to move in

even in the gym i find doing deep squats really hard in longer shorts

Mine seem to be right about knee joint level. I've been wearing Levi's 505 denim shorts almost exclusively this summer.

Anything much below knee join level stops being shorts and starts being flood pants, to my eye. I'm glad the longer shorts are fashionable these days, though, because the shorter shorts of the '70s and '80s caused me many embarrassing moments if I was stupid enough to go commando.

i can't imagine wearing those short ones from the 80s

Everyone did, and we all looked ridiculous. Apparently they still do in Australia, ever notice how all the Australian TV naturalist types have ridiculously short shorts? Like Reno 911 short shorts.

Not so much that we loved it, just that we didn't know any better. But then I used to think oral was a complete chore back then too.

I hate long shorts. I have good quads but nobody can see them. I think this fashion of long baggy shorts was started by pretty boys that do nothing but bench and curl and never go near the squat rack.

I normally don't wear shorts, I pretty much stay in jeans year round. I pretty much do that because boots and shorts don't go together.

If I do wear shorts, I don't mind if they're an inch or two above the knee.

PT shorts we had in the military were fucking short. Some guys had them so short they were showing a camel toe with their nuts.

At the gym they range from the top of the knee to below it.
Casual wear they are middle of the knee.
* I don't like short shorts. Too long is stupid too!

My workout shorts are an inch below my knees. I feel more comfortable as such though I admit that they are rather not practical when doing squats. The problem with short shorts are that it just wraps around your glutes/quads and looking ridiculously tight.

Casually speaking I rarely wear shorts, at least pants of some light material is better than shorts.

knee or just below. Old guys still sport the hot pants look though. Dont they think they look ridiculous?
