I was sitting in the theater watching A Green Mile thinking to myself "apples, oranges, baseball" over and over again so I wouldn't start crying haha.

I love battle scenes when one side knows that they're hopelessly out-numbered, out-gunned, and were probably going to die anyways, but they continue to fight.

...like the beginning to Saving Pvt Ryan...
...or the end of Battle Beyong The Stars or the 13 Warrior...

I love watching those types of scenes and would like to think that war is somewhat of the same thing. Then, the illusion is over and scenes like the end of Saving Pvt Ryan (where the soldier just sat there frozen in fear while his friend was getting killed) bring me back to reality.
