i tried a 3mg sublingual 15 minutes before bed and that shit put me out for 12 hours. normaly i would sleep 5-6 hours. also keep in mind that i sleep during the day when its sunny out and the asshole next door mow's his lawn everyday and the fucking birds chirp like its going out of style.

When Im on 3rd shift I live off that shit. Melatonin and excedrin PM(it has 38mg of the sleepy stuff per tab as opposed to tylenol pms 25mg)

3rd shift sucks but I had all my personal bests when working out right after work.

how long after work do you go to bed? if i train right after work then i only have time for 1 meal then its catabolic city. now im traing after i wake up witch is usually 4-5 pm

It works well for me also, but the dreams can be a bit vivid on it.

yeah and way more addictive, and can potentially cause wayyyyyyyyyy more problems. Just remember with melatonin you will build a tolerance after using same dose for a few weeks, at least I did, and then bump the dose .5 mils and you will fee the effects again.

ambien sucks cock. my doc gave me a full script when i started working 3rd shift so i can sleep during the day. needless to say AMBIEN sucks and i did better w/out it. the side effects on the insert take up the whole back page and i pretty much got all the side effects lol

Glad to see some other bros hit the gym late at night. I usually hit it at midnight. No crowds. No fucking around lift hard and go home down a protein drink and I'm sawing logs never had aproblem sleeping after a good workout. :)

I take 2 1mil meletonin 20 minutes before sleep and I fall asleep fast. I have always had that problem of falling asleep. I've never had to up the dose. I did take 4 3mils before and it gave me a bad headache :p but no side effects taking 3mils or under for me.

lol, you said it BBF. My dreams are NUTTY on it.

Yep. My dreams are already nutty enough without it. It always intensified them and made them more real, even after waking up. The memories of them were just too real.

I won't touch the stuff, everytime i did i was semi concious and woke up trying to scream, it was either aliens abducting me or some other shit!
One night i slept thru it and woke up exhausted, all night i was trying to run & hide from this huge T-Rex.

Yeah I had one where I was walking down into this ceiler in a house, and it smelled bad with alot of tree roots coming through the walls. There was a large pool of black water at the bottom, and when I got sloer too it, a pair of rotten zomies rose out of it... but they ahd bright blue eyes that were not rotten... one of them ripped my arm off and the otehr grabbed me and pushed my face into the water... and I was trying to scream but drowned in teh rancid black water... I remember thinking I was going to come back as a zombie.... Last time I took it. LoL Had way too many like that.

which side-effects do you get then?

I cannot take melatonin, because it is illegal here, but it is legal here to get hardcore sleeping aids from a doc, so I am also taking ambien. No side-effects to mention, just extra sleepiness during the day, and perhaps an increase in prolactin?
