had a meet last weekend HORRIBLE

well first off i seperated my shoulder a month ago. and didnt lift for 3 weeks come back and start lifting then last week i got the flu had my sisters wedding the day befored woke up and still went, i weighd in at 169 lbs. my first lift was 315 to just see how my shoulder was. well it hurt i tried 335 shoulder hurt like hell so i le them take it and i was done i only did one lift andf came in 2nd not to bad but not good consider ing i would have been at 400 if i didnt get sick or seperate my shoulder!!

o well cant win em all you have to fail sometime
 
I think sometimes that lifting against adversity is a good experience. I dropped 245 on my chest warming up between opener and 2nd, broke my ribs and went back for 2nd and 3rd. Missed them but felt good about the tries.

What kind of rehab work did you do for your shoulder?
 
thats very soon to be competing after a separated shoulder. don't sweat the meet dude- sounds like you should have given it more time.
