meaning of life

needs are not relative, but are necessary for survival......ie...food shelter, etc. wants are superfulous, and should only be entertained when needs are fulfilled.

the pursuit of want only entails suffering when those wants interfere with the needs of others.

most of the world suffering is located in countries such as the 3rd world who are still paying the price for colonialisms "need" for new markets to feed the "wants" of those respective 1st world colonial powers....the suffering continues.....in the form of 3rd world debt due to loans from the IMF and World bank......the "wants" of a few continue to overpower needs of the many.....illogical is it not?

The meaning of life is suffering.

Don't believe me?

Name one person who doesn't suffer.

i belive it's very possible to get to a point where you're absolutely happy at all times. i think im getting very close to that right now. i actually wake up in the morning realizing how grateful i am for everything i have. you know when something powerful happens, and you get that sense of motivation for like 2 seconds? im feeling that all the time. im like a happy person accidentally given a prescription for prozac:D

i honestly think there are some people whose suffering is so small, that it can hardly be considered...but i agree, at one point or another everyone will experience some.

I know that there is suffering everywhere, and suffering hits you whether you're rich or poor, black or white, male or female. I'm not going to knock atheists, or people of little or no faith that think they're where they're suppossed to be... But I just wanted to bring about a point that I've seen. The people who are real Christians, who really do walk the walk, are the happiest people I've ever met. I'll take it a step further, b/c I know people of many religions, and they too, the real ones as i said, are really happy people, happy w/ w/e they have, no greed, no hate, but they got mad love for everybody.

Those are the happiest people I've come across in life... just an observation....
