me upper - week 4/phase 2

well i couldnt get the band tension to really help me out any. i was using the average bands, but they only assited in 2 inches off the chest, after that it was a normal board press.

3 board rev band bench - 335 x 1. 365 x 2 x 0.

seated band (mini's) ohp - 165 x 3. and 185 x 2.

jm press - 185 x 2 x 3.

zott presses - 25 x 2 x 10.

db power cleans - 35's x 4 x 8.

that was it, felt good, i strained a lot, but i just didnt put up any big numbers.

progress is key, weight is a function of time and progress. Everyone will have an off day, just fopcus on the parts that went wrong and try to work on them

not rev grip bench, rev band bench. the bands are suspended higher than the bar and as you lower, it gets eaiser, so as you get higher, the weight is loaded onto you while the bands slack off, making you work your lockout really hard.

well i guess yes, it was my first time ever doing 3 board press with rev bands. the most i ever did with 3 boards was 315. this time i did 335.

so technically yes.

Naa man. You did the work...and YOU set the PR.

Hannibal told me a long time ago. Set the PR every week even if it means putting 2 pounds on the bar....then go for something a little higher and don't be afraid to miss.
