Hello. I am a female. 37 yr's old, 138 lbs, 5'6" tall.

I weight train 5x a week ( HEAVY ) I try to eat a lot of protein, drinks lots of water, take my whey powder & creatine to put mass on my ectomorph thin female frame.

Like I said I weigh 138 lbs, I used to weigh btwn 130-135 COULD THE EXTRA AMOUNT ON THE SCALE POSSIBLY BE MUSCLE GAINED ?????

I hope so !!!!!!

my pants are fitting a little snugger though, don't know if that's a good or bad sign ?

I was hoping if anyone of you could answer this for me ?

Thanks

well, i am an ecto as well, and i can tell you that muscle is where the gains are at for us. matter of fact, besides the fact that you are shorter and more buxom, we have nearly identical stats.

it sounds like you know exactly what to do to gain. eat heavy on protein, and workout heavy. even 3 pounds of mass on a small frame is a lot, even though its hard to see. ESPECIALLY if that is all muscle mass, cause muscle is much denser than fat (i think thats common knowledge by now).

fitting tighter in pants eh? as long as you are doing leg work to warrent bigger legs, that is a really good thing. there is nothing that i like better than a fit, thick chick.

My assuption would be yes, but only if this has been consistent. I know some women can fluctuate 5lbs in a week from their hormones.

welcome..we love ladies that like to lift heavy..i would think with the creatine you may be holding some water..as long as your diet is clean and you have a good routine you should be good

Take a taoe measure and get your waist measurement and track it vs scale weight...or get apinch test

Just be aware that with creatine you tend to hold a lot more water hence you weigh more

But it's neither fat nor muscle

the best way is touse abody fat scale or a caliper (though none are really accurate)

water weight probably if you havnt been dieting, but a few pounds is nothing much.

and if yous post pics they would be more helpful ;)

Peace
