mathematic GH problem ...

I've a mathematic problem that you should help me to resolve...
I've a 10 mg (30iu) cartridge of novo nordisk GH and I had the wrong GH pen as it's made for 15 mg (45iu) cartridge... the size of the pen is the same and I can use it for my 10ml cartridge...
my question is: how many mg should I program on the 15 iu pen to inject 6 iu of the 10iu cartridge ?
I know it's a weird question but I don't want to buy another one pen

If I knew what a GH pen was I would probably have the correct answer...
Does a cartridge go into the pen which then shoots out whatever amount you set if for? For instance if you put a 15mg cart in there and set it for 15mg you'd get 15mg (or 45iu) and if you set it for 10mg you'd get 10mg (or 30iu)? Did you mean 15mg pen and not 15iu?

If yes to all that, then I'd say you'd want to set it for 9mg.
Since if you put the 10mg cart in there and set it for 15mg you'll get 100% which is 10mg (30iu). So you want 60% of that which 9mg of a 15mg scale and translates to 6mg of your 10mg cart.

Please don't inject until someone else confirms this for me.

Do you want to know how many mg to set the pen for or how many iu? Do you want to inject 6mg or 6iu? I assumed it was 6mg since you called it a 10mg cart and said 6iu of 10iu. So if all of that is mg, then this is a 15mg is to Xmg as 10mg is to 6mg type problem which (all math removed) is 9mg on the pen.
