ok. bear in mind, i don't do any gaming and i'm currently running a GeForce 2 card. moving up to what i'm looking at will be a huge improvement, even though i think the GeForce2 is good for my needs.
also going with dual moniter support so i can use the spare moniter that i have.
going with S video output on the card, as it's better than composite and that's pretty much my only choices for plugging into the DVD recorder.
need 4x/8x AGP. on a 4x AGP board right now, but might very well build a new computer in the next month.
i think i'm going with this one. the picture shows a composite out, but the listing says it's an S Video out.

oh, i like ASUS products and their tech support kicks ass. my current motherboard is ASUS and my next one will be ASUS. had one picked out before for i think $55 and was going to drop a 2.4ghz processor in it. 2.4ghz seems kinda "slow" for someone that wants to build a new computer, but my current one is a 950mhz and it's just a tad bit slow for me. 2.4ghz would be plenty.
