It's nice that the Terps are starting to play some decent teams again. In the early-mid 80's they used to play U of Michigan and Penn St. every year but the pussy fans were upset because they used to lose those games and because of that never got a shot at a National Championship, so those rivalries were discontinued...

I hope I'm wrong, but if the terps have another sucessful campaign this year I can see the head coach going to a bigger name football program the following year.

Besides florida state, you really don't have dominating programs that you'll find in the SEC, Big 10 and Big 12. There have been good teams to come out of the ACC, but year in, year out... Mdguy, I heard about that too. I'm not sure if it was a head coaching job though. He's a great coach though. A players coach.

You try taking Scott McBrien, and even try to beat a middle school team. We've played two tough games this season: Notre Dame and FSU. We've scored one touchdown combined in those games. And that was a running play.
