Martial Arts at Kent State?

Hi. I'm a freshman at Kent State University in Ohio. I was wondering if any of you know any good martial arts school remotely close to my area? I'm in great physical shape and would love to take my body to the next level. There's an on-campus "green dragon kung fu school" but I've heard it was pretty lame, the sorta place where you learn how to use swords the second week. I'd really appreciate your help. Thanks!

I don't think there are many high quality schools in the area. I'm from Stow, which is right by Kent. I know there is a kickboxing gym up in Akron that is probably pretty good. If you want to drive up to Macedonia there is a brown belt in BJJ that teaches. Look him up on bjj.org. I go to school in Cleveland and there is a good BJJ school and a solid MMA school up here. Unfortunately it will be too long of a drive when I come back for the summer.
