Damn...that's a killer price tag for a ring. But as long as you like it.
The last time I bought her jewelry...it was online and it looked so fuggin big until I got home and she was wearing it. I wish they would model the rings online so you can get a idea of the size.

Yeah I was pretty blown away. I guess he thought I was worth it though. :)

how much did you spend on the biggest tv in your house or electronic toy?

spend more than that.

but dont go too much over that. It shows you care about her more than yourself without getting too rediculous. imo. thats a good judge.

Hubby got me a nice ring, but ee were smart and got married in Vegas and let the parents help us with a house instead of a big wedding. :)

Fair one.

And that's another thing that boils my piss; big fuck off extravagant weddings. Jesus, again tens of thousands of dollars better spent on the family home like you did.

Dood - you can buy diamonds online. You have to go see them under the scope so you can see how many intrusion they have. Also, no way to judge the color from an online photo.

I think the "book" says about 3 months salary- Likely the diamond association book.
Get her something nice, that she'll be proud of but don't blow the bank. That's just stupid.

I just spent $575 on a blender......but it has a function.

I spent $1k, but I was 21 at the time.

For our 10 year I'll get her something a tad bigger.

Hey if you already have a home and everything you need then sure have a nice wedding. I wanted out of an apartment and into a home though so did that instead.

Screw that - I would have to buy a ring close to $50k. Just not going to happen.

I guess that is why you should marry young.
