I would have a lawsuit so far up their ass right now it wouldn't be funny. I would be calling radio stations, newspapers, tv news crews, I would be going full out on them.

I was just thinking you have to be able to sue Best Buy AND the police over this sutation, right?

my grandfather used to always bet at the dog track with $2 bills
i can see the kid employees getting a little confused seeing a stack of $2 bills since they are so rare to see in circulation, but the cop should of known better

I had a problem at the dry cleaners where they completely ruined a shirt.Whatever chemicals they used put orange spots on the shirt. I understand this can happen,not only did she not offer to pay for the replacement of the shirt they were going to charge me for the cleaning service. I couldn't believe what they were trying to do. My bill total was $7.40. I walked in the next day with a bag full of 740 pennies which i carefully counted out the night before. After some heated words she gave me my shirts and told me to never come back again..............It was legal u.s. tender, that is all i kept saying to her......Glad i didn't get arrested, however i know for a fact she screwed up a bunch of police uniforms in the past, so i doubt she would have gotten much sympathy.

not to sound like a litigious fuck, but he should sue Best Buy defamation of character and mental anguish. the corporate hierarchy will fold and settle quick.

Wow, that sucks. It's funny because my daughter was given a 2 dollar bill about a week ago from this old man in Costco. He just said "Hello, here you go cutie." and handed it to her. I asked his name and we talked for 10 minutes or so. He was a good bro and seems to give those bills to all the youngsters as a small token gift thing. He was in a wheelchair and the whole time talking to him I was thinking he was in a war or something. "Joe I." Nice guy.

We did keep the bill instead of spending it. Maybe I'll go to BestBuy. HAAAA.

What was their basis for arresting him? Just USING legal money published by the US government??? Merely using currency provided by the government is means for arrest? Sounds like entrapment to me.

I'd definately file for humiliation, etc.
