Abx take care of it completely if it's caught in time.javaguru said:I'm not a physician but shouldn't antibiotics take care of it?
When it's not detected or caught and lingers for years (like mine), abx don't always work.
I speak to some people who have been on abx for 2, 3, 4 maybe 5 yrs.
Lyme dr's are not sure how much or how little work. There is not enough research into it.
Many people are actually on IV abx for months at a time.
So far, I've been on 3 diff abx (at the same time) at the highest doses and I don't feel any better.
I'm going to be doing homeopathy which seems to help many with chronic lyme.
