Lower Back Pain Rack pull

Today i wanted to beat my record on Rack pull with a weight of 270kg. During the 1st rep as it was super heavy i felt little cracks near my lower back tho the pain wasnt really there yet. it was like the crack you get when someone steps on your back and you hear cracks. i finished up all my other exercises for back/traps but the pain is there now.

I am going to rate the pain from 0 - 10 for you guys and describe specific pain in area too.
Standing- 1
Bending over - 3
twisting - 0
its the middle of my back but the pain is not agonizing. Im pretty sure i had this injury back when i was 19 for the same problem and it went away within a week.

What would your prognosis be guys?
 
ill be updating my pain every 2 days just to see if it gets better or not but i gotta thank the lord that it doesnt feel that bad...

is their anything i can do to help it heal?
 
Definitely lay off doing anything involving your low back for a few (3ish) days first and see what happens. At that point it may be healed fully or it might be getting better, in which case you may be able to start doing some light work on it.
 
Rest is best.

Ice will help inflammation and ease the pain.

If the pain persists for a couple of days you should probably go to a doctor and see whats wrong. He or she is much more qualified to tell you anything about it.

If it's only a 3 though I personally wouldn't worry about it.
