lower back Exercises

Squatting hits the lower back, too.

I usually suggest that when someone is working lower back they try to hit the whole abdominal girdle. Bridges, DB side bends and torso circles can fit into this.
 
deadlifts (SLDL, RDL, rack pulls, sumo, conventional,zercher)
GM's (varying foot positons, seated)
Rev. Hypers
Squats (box, zercher, PL, Oly)
Pullthroughs
Swingthroughs
hyperextensions (45 deg, 90deg, GHR's)

I doubt you'll need much more variety if you run though each of those.
